Nuts and Bolts of Volunteer Administration

This professional development meeting was held at the United
Hospital Fund. The speaker was a member of the Association, Ms.
Camille Tumolo. Camille is the Director of Volunteer Services at
New York Presbyterian Hospital-New York Weill Cornell and former
President of both the New York State Association of Directors of
Volunteer Services and the GNYADVS.
Camille provided information regarding the essential components
of a volunteer program. All basic aspects of a volunteer
management program were covered including recruiting,
interviewing, orientation, training, assignments, and policies
and procedures.

The presentation was essential for individuals new to the field
