Demonstrating Impact
Isabella Geriatric Center

- January 14, 2009
9AM-10AM Membership Meeting
10AM-12PM Panel and Speaker
If you had 30 seconds to "pitch" your department’s accomplishments to your
CEO, what would you present? What materials, data, presentations, and statistics
do you have to demonstrate the impact that the volunteers and your department
contributes to your facility’s mission? Learn about different methods, tools and
materials that some of our colleagues are currently using to promote their
successes. Super Volunteers

- March 19, 2009
9AM-10AM Membership Meeting
10AM-12PM Panelists
Utilizing "Super Volunteers" for leadership roles can be a challenge. For the
first time, we will invite some ‘Super Volunteers’ to share their successes and
challenges in leading volunteer programs at our facilities. We’ll meet a
volunteer who oversees the Pet Therapy Program at Columbia Presbyterian. If you
have a "super volunteer" at your organization who could present their program,
please contact Wendy Yondorf, Professional Development Chair for GNYADVS at
yondorfw@hss.edu.
