Enjoy Other Benefits of Membership

Membership in State Association
Members of GNYADVS automatically become members of the New York State Association of Directors of Volunteer Services (NYSADVS). The NYSADVS holds an annual professional development conference every spring, hosted by one of the eight New York Chapters on a rotating basis. This event enables members to network on a comprehensive scale and focus on both personal and professional development.

The Link and The Chapter Link
The quarterly newsletter of NYSADVS, The Link, and the monthly newsletter, The Chapter Link, produced by the New York chapters on a rotating basis, keep members connected and informed of the Association activities. These publications also highlight changes and developments in healthcare and volunteer administration and are often used as reference tools.

Legislation and Regulations
Our legislative committee keeps members apprised of new regulations and pending legislation affecting volunteerism and health care policy.
