Background
For over 50 years, Greater New York Association of Directors of Volunteer Services (GNYADVS) has successfully promoted and contributed to the principles and practices of sound volunteer administration in health care facilities, and fostered the professional development of its members.
Vision Statement
The Greater New York Association of Director of Volunteer Services continues to be dedicated to:
- Fostering excellence in its members' chosen profession through professional development and leadership training;
- Providing the framework and leadership to enable its members to establish partnerships, networks, linkages, and collaborations with each other and the community;
- Insuring the future vitality of the organization through creative and innovative membership development;
- Providing professional activities that acknowledge and support the evolution of our profession.
